Your Sales Partners was set up by Katharine Rose and Samantha Lakin as the training and consultancy arm of their telemarketing businesses.

With a combined experience of 50 plus years between them of lead generation, sales, business development, and specifically telemarketing and recruitment, they have built and developed a wealth of knowledge, skills, and material. Businesses, large and small, from a new start up business owner to an expanding sales team, have benefited from their first-hand experience in the field and their natural empathy and warm approach.

Katharine and Samantha have developed the unique Your Sales Tool Kit. This ‘sales process in a box’ includes customisable call scripts, Your Sales Plan, and Your Sales Goals. A simple lead qualifications process, a sample Excel database, self-calculating weekly sales activity report, sample emails and connect messages. All of which are easily adaptable and designed to grow with your business.

Sales training can be delivered 1:1 or in groups, online or face to face (depending on location), and is bespoke to your business.

Katharine has run her own highly successful telemarketing business since 2007...

Katharine has run her own highly successful telemarketing business since 2007 and prior to that, worked for over 20 years in sales, primarily recruitment, from high street to executive search.

Her specialist recruitment and phone confidence training workshops have successfully migrated from bespoke, on site delivery to online delivery. She most enjoys combining these with her weekly tele-coaching with participants, taking great pleasure in helping them grow in confidence each week and share and learn from their sales successes.

Katharine has notched up well over 30 years hands on experience in business to business sales plus recruiting, coaching and training sales and recruitment staff. She delivers consistently high numbers of quality leads and business opportunities for clients ranging from business coaches and advisors, recruitment businesses, IT, web developers, graphic designers and accountants to electrical contractors, catering and hospitality specialists and finance specialists. Clients benefit from her in depth business knowledge and expertise as well as her warm, friendly and down to earth approach which is why so many clients have stayed with Katharine for years and continue to recommend her services.

Katharine is a qualified life coach, having completed the Life Coaching Certificate and then Diploma through Newcastle College in 2004 and 2005.

On a personal note, Katharine does enjoy a spot of portrait drawing, people and animals, as well as keeping fit, walks along the beach, reading anything and everything and spending time with her family of four teenage children and her husband Mark. More recently, she has signed up to become a foster carer for The Dogs Trust.


Samantha Lakin

Samantha started her own telemarketing business over 13 years ago...

Samantha started her own telemarketing business over 13 years ago after a successful career in the IT software industry heading up direct sales, business development, channel and partnership teams across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Her knowledge and experience in sales have given her a particular focus and drive to support and train others in selling techniques and understanding the sale process.

Over the years, Samantha and her team of telemarketers have worked in many industry sectors, from IT, facilities management, life sciences and manufacturing to accountancy and business coaching, generating thousands of sales opportunities, leads and appointments for her clients. She loves helping business owners, sales professionals and other telemarketers who are looking to use the phone to successfully sell to and communicate with others.

When she’s not playing taxi to her two teenagers, Samantha loves music and going to live concerts with her husband Martyn, or friends. She recently started drum lessons which she loves, although yet to have a set in the house!
